Therapy Services

Speech Sound Disorders

If your child is difficult to understand because they have trouble saying certain sounds, we can help! Articulation and phonology therapy will help your child learn proper placement and production of age-appropriate speech sounds so that your child can communicate more effectively with you, their friends, and others in their community.  We are also skilled in diagnosing and treating Childhood Apraxia of Speech.

Language Development

Is your child not yet saying words or not saying enough words for their age? Do they mix up what they are trying to say? Are they having difficulties asking and answering questions? If so, please reach out! Early intervention is key in helping your child develop the language skills they need.

Fluency Disorders

Does your child repeat or prolong sounds, syllables, or words? Use interjections such as “um” or “like? Talking slowly or with a lot of pauses? Stopped or blocked speech? Fast eye blinking or trembling or shaking lips when speaking? We can help! Different techniques and strategies are used to teach your child skills that can help him or her speak without stuttering.

Social Communication Skills

Social skills therapy targets the development of early play and social skills such as: Participating in back-and-forth communication exchanges, increased engagement with peers, developmentally appropriate play skills, social-emotional learning, and navigating conflict. Our therapy sessions will be planned to match each child's abilities, preferences, and age with interactive and meaningful activities.
